Some figure skating books have been published recently. We’d read them if we didn’t have to spend all our time watching the 40 or so Grand Prix events this year. Here’s what’s out:

Push Dick’s Button: A Conversation on Skating from a Good Part of the Last Century–and a Little Tomfoolery by, of course, Dick Button.

And ABC television director Doug Wilson’s memoir, The World Was Our Stage: Spanning the Globe with ABC Sports.

As well as Kelli Lawrence’s Skating on Air: The Broadcast History of an Olympic Marquee Sport.

Not to mention Christine Brennan’s update to Edge of Glory: The Inside Story of the Quest for Figure Skatings Olympic Gold Medals. Well, I guess we mentioned it.
